Todays main focus was the flaps, i wanted to get them on and bolted down, turned out not to be to difficult and the flaps, ailerons and wingtips all line up great.  after those were done I installed all the belts(shoulder harness will go on tomorrow) and then finally i wanted to see how the landing lights looked at night.  The one of the left is going to be used as a taxi light, hence the reason its pointed lower.

I started by taking the right wing tip off again and fixing the light, after everything was back up and running Hopefully the wingtip went on for the last time.  After that was on i focused on the landing lights, the intent is to have the left light be more of a taxi light and the right be farther out for landing.  I think i have a good start but they might need a little more adjustment.  After those were on I focused on the ailerons, I went with a new idea for the aileron stops, they seem to work great I will just have to check the aileron travel tomorrow to see if its within specs.  Next up was the torque tubes which are all perfect now so hopefully i can call them done.  Tomorrow the flaps go on.

Started the day off by installing the lights in the wingtip and then mounting the wingtip, well somethings wrong with the light so the wingtip has to come off again, that will wait till tomorrow.  After i got over that i moved onto the wing bolts to finalize them, I replaced the 2 that I over torqued and then moved onto the rear spar bolt followed by the front tank bracket.  The rear spar received a cotter pin and the front gets safety wired.  After those were on and tight I installed the last 2 fuel lines.  Finally I installed and torqued the propeller down and then put the spinner on, followed by the baffle seals on the cowlings.  First time putting the cowl on, and i got a nice chip. great.

After I got home, I did the check board pattern on the second flap.

Added the checkerboard to one of the flaps tonight, it was much easier than i had imaged and turned out great, should be able to get the other one done tomorrow.

Today I went out with the intent of getting all 8 wing bolts in and torqued, I was very impressed how easily all the bolts went in, torquing the bolts and nuts was a different story, the torque wrench decided to run out of battery right as I started so they will have to wait till tomorrow.

I also Took a few pictures of it outside.

Wings went on for the final time, just 2 temp bolts in each, but now I can start installing the bolts for good.  Thanks to Phil, Paul and Greg for the help.

Worked on finishing up the tail, installed the tail link, Rudder chains, and the Trim Servo Motor, Then I moved on and removed the center console and floors in preparation for the wings to go on, I never realized that the Fuel Level Sensor is in front of the spar but I have it coming out of the fuse behind the spar, therefore I had to drill a hole threw the spar web so it can pass through.   Put the Wing Walk material on the wings, and also painted the NACA vent black. Finished up with Putting the N Numbers on, Everything is coming out great.

The tail is on for good, everything has been torqued and torque seal applied.  Tomorrow the rudder cables and trim tab will go on.
